CARACTERISATION BACTERIOLOGIQUE DU LAC RESERVOIR DU BARRAGE SIDI CHAHED

Titre: CARACTERISATION BACTERIOLOGIQUE DU LAC RESERVOIR DU BARRAGE SIDI CHAHED
Auteur(s): MEHANNED S; ZAID A; CHAHLAOUI A
Résumé: The present study was conducted to assess the bacteriological quality of the
water dam Sidi Chahed who sits on the Oued Mikkés one of the major rivers
draining the area between the cities of Meknes and Fez. The dam is fed by
another stream, Wadi Mellah. This study focused on four samples at the dam
four depths (0m, 10m, 20m-30m). Bacteriological analysis focused on indicators of pollution which include germs, germs total, total coliforms, fecal
coliforms, fecal streptococci, and sulphite-reducing anaerobes. Analyses
showed that the contamination is very important in the water column, the
bacteriological pollution and differs from one level to another. The analysis and
interpretation of the correlation between microbiological data variables were
performed using the Principal Component Analysis and analysis by Hierarchical
Classification.

Résumé: The aim of this study is to evaluate the physicochemical quality of groundwater
and explain phenomenon at the origin to the mineralization of these waters.
Methodology based on physicochemical analyses of 26 samples of
groundwater. Descriptive analyses of physicochemical parameters show that
waters are acid and in the whole very low mineral content. Phosphates, silica
and iron contents sometimes have very high levels in the water; above the WHO
standard for drinking water. Piper diagram show that groundwater are
chlorinated about 89% that above 80% chlorinated sodi-potassium. The
Normalized Principal Components Analysis (NPCA) method has enabled to
highlight two big phenomena in acquisition of the mineralization of waters. The
main phenomenon of production of ions in water is the contact water-rock (the
mineralization residence time). The second phenomenon is superficial
contributions bound to water inputs through superficial infiltrations and saline
and briny waters intrusion in the aquifer. The cluster analysis has enabled to
identify four major clusters based chemical composition. The groundwater
resources in the region of Adiaké have a good physicochemical quality but need
in certain cases a specific treatment before supply.

CARACTERISATION DE LA NAPPE PROFONDE GAFSA NORD SUITE A LA SUREXPLOITATION DES EAUX SOUTERRAINES

Résumé: The system aquifer Gafsa North is powered mainly by the flood water of wad El
Kbir and the infiltration of rainwater. This system suffers from overexploitation
due to the development of phosphates sector and renovation of oases Gafsa
which led to the realization of several deep wells. The present works aims to
assess the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the deep aquifer Gafsa North following the excessive use of groundwater. The groundwater level has
unveiled a drawdown that varies between 2 and 6 m. In this regard, the high
decrease of piezometric level recorded especially in the downstream of the
plain, shows the lack of natural recharge of the aquifer due to low rainfall
events, and the increased use of groundwater. The hydrochemical study showed
that salinity varies between 1 and 3 g/l. According to the diagram piper and
lithological sections, that salinity is generated by the dissolution of calcium and
sulphate minerals and does not seem to be affected by the conditions of
exploitation

Résumé: The descriptive study of dune facies plain Tafilalet enlightened us on the likely
sand sheets, the axis of advance of the sands, and any remobilisassions. Only a more detailed analysis will shed light on the behavior of particles during
transport, according to their size or nature of their origin, their specific areas of
migration, deposition and remobilization. This characterization of the sand
through his elementary particle, will be by laboratory analyzed by
granulometric by sieving, morphoscopic by observing the insoluble fraction and
mineral by separating the soluble fraction and heavy mineral Identification
