Résumé: The current study aimed to examine the impact of competency development strategies,
including their dimensions (communities of practice strategy; organizational learning strategy;
empowerment strategy; training strategy; and job rotation strategy), on service quality,
including its dimensions (tangibility; reliability; empathy; responsiveness; and safety),
according to the SERVQUAL model, in Algerian hotels.
The study relied on the hypothetical-deductive method and a quantitative approach. A
questionnaire was distributed to a simple random sample of (110) Algerian hotels. (412)
questionnaires were collected from hotel employees and (390) customers. Initial data was
collected between January and September 2022 and analyzed using SPSS 21. Directed
interviews were also used to support the interpretation of the results.
The results showed that the level of implementation of competency development strategies in
a group of Algerian hotels was high according to the study's scale, with the average responses
of the surveyed employees regarding the dimensions of the competency development
strategies combined being (3.52). The results also showed that the level of service quality was
high according to the study's scale. The average responses of the surveyed employees on the
combined dimensions of service quality was )4.24(, while the average responses of the
surveyed customers on the combined dimensions of service quality was )4.08(. The results
also revealed differences between employee and customer evaluations of service quality in the
dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, safety, and empathy. The results also revealed a
direct impact of competency development strategies on service quality in an Algerian hotel
group. The study also demonstrated a direct impact of the organizational learning strategy, the
empowerment strategy, the training strategy, and the job rotation strategy on the quality of
service provided. However, the communities of practice strategy had no direct impact on
service quality in the Algerian hotel group. The researcher presented a set of
recommendations related to the topic.

Résumé: This study aimed to identify the direct impact of ethical leadership on
organizational commitment, and its indirect impact through the ethical work
climate, using a sample from healthcare institutions in Biskra city.
To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive methodology was employed,
utilizing a questionnaire as a data collection tool and unstructured interviews to
support and interpret the obtained results. The sample comprised 350
employees, including doctors, paramedical staff, and administrative personnel
from the healthcare institutions under investigation.
In light of this, data were collected and analysed, and the hypotheses were tested
using both multiple and stepwise regression analyses for the direct effect
hypotheses, and path analysis for the indirect effect hypotheses, relying on the
statistical software SPSS Version 22 and AMOS Version 29.
The study achieved several results, most notably the existence of a
statistically significant direct effect of ethical leadership in its various
dimensions on the organizational commitment of the healthcare institutions
under study at a significance level of (0.05), and the existence of a statistically
significant direct effect of ethical leadership in its various dimensions on the
ethical work climate at a significance level of (0.05). The study also found that
there is a statistically significant effect of the ethical work climate in its various
dimensions on organizational commitment at a significance level of (0.05).
Moreover, there is a statistically significant indirect effect of ethical leadership
on organizational commitment in the presence of the ethical work climate at a
significance level of (0.05).
Finally, the study concluded with several recommendations, primarily
emphasizing the need to foster an ethical culture within healthcare institutions
by improving the work environment, ensuring comfortable conditions, and
building collaborative relationships among all medical staff. Additionally, it
recommends enhancing organizational commitment through the organization of
seminars and workshops that focus on promoting positive practices among
employees to achieve the goals of healthcare institutions and enhancing the
ethical climate by disseminating the ethical guidelines that must be observed by
the employees.

Résumé: This study sought to examine the levels of ethical leadership, quality of work life, and
organizational cynicism, as well as to ascertain the relationship between ethical leadership—
encompassing the dimensions of availability, practice, and promotion of ethical behavior—and
quality of work life. Additionally, it aimed to evaluate the influence of both ethical leadership and
quality of work life as independent variables on organizational cynicism, which includes cognitive,
emotional, and behavioural in Ziane Achour Public Hospital Institution Ouled Djellal.
To fulfil the study's objectives, both descriptive and analytical methodologies were employed,
with a questionnaire serving as the primary instrument for data collection from a sample of (285)
employees within the institution under examination, supplemented by personal observation and
unstructured interviews. We employed the SPSS Version 27 Statistical Package for the Social
Sciences to extract and analyze the results. Among the most significant outcomes achieved are: - The overall assessment of ethical leadership, quality of work life, and organizational cynicism at
the Ashour Ziane Public Hospital in Ouled Djellal, as perceived by its staff, was categorized as
"average.". -Ethical leadership and its dimensions (availability of ethical behavior, practicing ethical behavior,
promoting ethical behavior) have a statistically significant correlation with quality of work life,
with a correlation coefficient (0.670). - Ethical leadership has a statistically significant inverse effect on organizational cynicism, as
evidenced by a coefficient of determination (R2) of (0.238), Additionally, the quality of work life
also demonstrates a statistically significant inverse effect on organizational cynicism, with a
coefficient of determination R² of (0.285). - There is an inverse impact of both ethical leadership and quality of work life together on
organizational cynicism. as evidenced by a correlation coefficient (R) of (-0.555), The coefficient
of determination was calculated as (0.308), indicating that these factors together account for
(30.8%) of the inverse variation in organizational cynicism, whereas (69.2%) is attributed to other
variables not examined in this study. Furthermore, the impact of quality of work life on
organizational cynicism was found to be more significant than that of ethical leadership among
employees of the Ashour Ziane Ouled Jalal Public Hospital Institution.

Résumé: The study aims to explore the contribution of quantitative management methods in
improving competitive performance by testing a range of quantitative models, including linear
programming, CPM networks, price elasticity, and Pareto and Ishikawa diagrams. To achieve
the study's objectives, the constructionist approach was adopted, along with a case study of the
Biskria Cement Company in Biskra. This involved conducting unstructured interviews with the
company's managers and staff, in addition to observation and the analysis of relevant documents
and information related to its activities.
The study found that linear programming contributed to improving competitive
performance through productivity and profitability. Price elasticity also contributed to
competitive performance by enhancing productivity, profitability, and market share.
Additionally, CPM networks played a role in improving competitive performance by increasing
productivity and providing better cost control. However, the contribution of Pareto and
Ishikawa diagrams to improving competitive performance was less than expected.
The study also emphasized the need to integrate quantitative methods in resource
management and decision-making, which helps add value to the company and enhances its
competitive capacity. Furthermore, the company can expand its use of advanced quantitative
methods supported by artificial intelligence to improve its performance and achieve sustainable
growth.
