dc.description.abstractOur work takes an interest in uniform flow in a trapezoidal shaped channel. The study is based on Chezy’s and Manning’s relationships. The flow is analyzed firstly under a constant resistance coefficient and secondly with a variable resistance coefficient. Considering the consistent uniform flow relationship, Chezy’s and Manning’s coefficients are expressed and their graphical representation shows a maximum. Despite the fact that the linear dimension of the chanel is unknown, the rough model method allows the determination of these coefficients from explicit relations applied in the fully turbulent flow domain.en_US
