dc.description.abstractWith the growth of the animation industry, the need for efficient and visually appealing cloth simulation becomes huge. Meanwhile, the flexible nature of the fabric makes the problem very complex, especially when it comes to collision handling of the fabric with its environment. Our work is a part in behavioral simulation. Its main objective is to propose a solution to the problem of collision handling for real time cloth simulation. The model applies the method of bounding volumes hierarchy and takes advantage of levels of detail techniques for their acceleration properties and this in order to find a compromise between computational speed and detection accuracyen_US
