Summary Our work aims to extract the active ingredients of two medicinal plants Artemisia herba alba Asso and Nerium oleander plus the antibacterial study of its extracts. The antibacterial activity of the essential oils of Artemisia herba alba Asso, (yield 0, 75%) on the two bacterial strains of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus is more efficient, we recorded that the strain Staphylococcus aureus 11mm is the strain extremely sensitive to the 1/4 concentration, and Escherichia coli 7mm and 18mm is the extremely sensitive strain at concentrations (1 / 4.1 / 8). In contrast, the extract of Nerium oleander alkaloid (yields 4.6%) has an effect only on the strain of Staphylococcus aureus 7mm and 13mm with a concentration (1/4, 1/8).en_US
