Because of its universality, domestic space has always been favorite subject for architectural research. Its Shaping has been since the dawn of time, submitted to characteristics and ideologies, which have governed the time of his begetting, which has led, through different historical periods, many conceptual shifts. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate some of these shifts, by identifying the specific nature of scholarly domestic spatiality, specifically that of suburban homes and vacationing. Faced with many transformations, this anthology can only be fragmentary. We will follow shortened routes and favor certain viewing angles. The chronological classification will be defined in relation to the Modern Movement, since it has been a very symptomatic dislocation step in the history of architecture.en_US
