The present work aims to study the effect of saline stress at the germination stage on the physiological behavior of 03 bean ecotypes Phaseolus vulgaris L. The study was carried out in an incubator at a temperature of 25 ° C. The seeds are germinated in petri dishes containing increasing concentrations of salt (NaCl) ranging from 0 g / l to 200 g / l. The study showed that salt has a depressive effect on the germination rate. However, this effect varies with the variety and intensity of stress. Key words: salt stress, germination, NaCl, phaseolus vulgaris.en_US
