The interest of this memoir is to evaluate contents of total polyphenols and flavonoids, the antioxidant activity (DPPH, FRAP, TAC) and anti-inflammatory activity (inhibition of denaturation of BSA protein, haemolytic activity, anti-haemolytic) in vitro of the aqueous and methanolic extracts of the leaves of Pistacia atlantica Desf. and to test the acute toxicity of the methanolic extract in vivo. On the one hand the tests studies confirmed that the plant rich in polyphenols and flavonoids and has a high antioxidant activity and interesting anti-inflammatory power, on the other hand no behavioral symptoms or mortality were noted on the side of the acute toxicity Key words : in vivo, in vitro, Pistacia atlantica Desf. , antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory activity, Acute toxicity.en_US
