dc.description.abstract | The study we present in this thesis focuses on the collection of linguistic borrowing in journalistic texts of the French-speaking Algerian press "Le Soir d'Algérie" and specifically the "Digoutage" chronicle. Our work is part of the field of lexicology which deals with the masses of borrowed words, we are interested in linguistic borrowing since it is one of the important elements in lexical creation in languages. Our goal is to collect the borrowing used in the chronicle and see how they are presented in the text of the chronicle. For our theoretical foundation, we found it interesting to define some concepts related to our study and to put them at the service of the analysis of the corpus. Concerning the analysis of our corpus, we have applied a lexicological approach to borrowing that we have been able to identify in the linguistic system of the host language which consists in the typology, the grammatical categorization, and the source of origin, etc. Key words: lexical creation, lexicology, borrowing, typology | en_US |
