Abstract

Our study came under the following title An Analytical Study of Play Positions on Physical Attributes Transitional Speed and Rise and Morphological Indicators Height and Weight of U17 Class Football Players This study aims to identify the physical differences of football players according to playing positions The research problem revolved around whether playing in a specific position in football requires special physical characteristics? As for the research hypotheses, it included the following hypotheses There are statistically significant differences in the transfer speed of soccer players according to playing positions defense midfield offense There are statistically significant differences in the promotion of soccer players according to playing positions defense midfield offense There are statistically significant differences in the morphological indicators height weight of soccer players according to playing positions defense midfield attack And a set of physical tests and anthropometric measurements were chosen to collect data that serve our research, and this is for the purpose of applying them to a sample of 18 players representing the Young Al Marara team in Wadi soof, in the municipal stadium The methodology of the study was descriptive The data were to be treated statistically by means of the arithmetic mean, standard deviation and the difference test Student The tests were not conducted due to the Corona pandemic The researcher assumed the following results There are statistically significant differences in the promotion of soccer players according to playing positions defense midfield offense There are statistically significant differences in the morphological indicators height weight of soccer players according to playing positions defense midfield attack There are statistically significant differences in the morphological indicators height weight of soccer players according to playing positions defense midfield attack The two researchers recommended the need to focus on individual training according to playing positions in terms of physical fitness components
