dc.description.abstractSummary: The crime of refusing to pay alimony is considered one of the crimes against the family system that requires the availability of the general pillars represented in the legal pillar, the material pillar and the moral pillar in accordance with the general rules, in addition to the special pillars formed for it, as it requires the existence of an enforceable judicial ruling and the knowledge of the accused The content of the judgment, and obligating him to implement in addition to his refusal to pay alimony for a period of two months. The Algerian legislator singled out this crime by conducting mediation as an alternative solution to the dispute before initiating the public lawsuit. The Algerian legislator also specified the penalties for the perpetrators of this crime in Article 331 of Q.P., in addition to the complementary penalties specified in Article 332 of Q.A. which referred it to Article 14 of this law.en_US
