Abstract

The Algerian legislator sought to take care and protect the endowment property, by creating an administrative authority to watch over the management of the endowment property, which made the legislator adopt a central system in the management of the endowment, consisting of administrative bodies at the local and central levels, linked to the central administration represented by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments. The Algerian legislator has also put in place several mechanisms to control the endowment, the most important of which is the inventory of endowment properties and the documentation of operations, actions and contracts contained in the endowment. The endowment is also subject to accountability as an institution with an independent financial liability
