Abstract

Terrorism is a serious phenomenon that threatens international security and stability because of the crimes that it causes, which have left many victims in different parts of the world, which develops with the passage of time and terrorism has become using very sophisticated and modern means to spread fear and terror in the souls of people . Our study focused on counter-terrorism mechanisms, which require giving a conceptual input on terrorism, and then on the mechanisms to combat terrorism at the international level, which are international organizations and conventions, and then on the mechanisms to combat terrorism at the regional level, which are regional organizations and conventions, giving a model of the methods that Algeria has addressed in order to combat this phenomenon .
