dc.description.abstract | The bill of exchange is one of the most important commercial papers, so the Algerian legislator sought to provide a legal framework that surrounds all its aspects to protect the rights of its parties. It replaces money in settling commercial debts, and its importance is embodied in that it is a tool of loyalty and credit at the same time; Because it possesses an exchange trust with its dealers, it is issued by a person called the drawer who directs an order to pay to a person called the drawee to pay an amount to a person called the beneficiary, and the latter can endorse it to another person called the bearer by signing it on the back and delivering it to him, and this holder benefits from guarantees The general ones are represented in the consideration of fulfillment, acceptance, and solidarity between the signatories, and the specific ones are represented in the real estate guarantee and the reserve guarantee. When he neglects to complete the bill on its due date, as well as to carry out the legal procedures established on time, he loses his right to recourse due to forfeiture or prescription. | en_US |
