dc.description.abstract | The United States sees that there is a huge security problem in Africa, started by the move of terrorism to Somalia, spreading in the Sahel and the Sahara even the Maghreb region. The American Strategy in the Global War against terrorism has main principles one of them is: following the terrorists where ever they are, which means that the American military existence in the African continent is necessary at list for now, spicily when Al- Qeada moved to the Sahel and the Maghreb region trying to create relations with some extremists groups in the area. That’s what the US use to justify her efforts to create a military base in the region the "Africom″, which had been refused by the African countries so it entered in a security cooperation with some of them like Algeria. | en_US |
