dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, structures are built in very narrow spaces with others existing horizontally on the surface of the ground or in depth, next to sources of dynamic loads (railways, convoys of vehicles, engineering structures, tunnels, etc.), which can cause undesirable damage due to the phenomenon of the interaction between the structures and the ground on the one hand, and between structures themselves on the other. To study this phenomenon, series of numerical analyses were carried out as part of this work using the finite element code Plaxis2D© to know the effect of the structure-soil-structure interaction on dynamical responses, under the impact of traffic and seismic loads, taking into account the variation in the values of certain key parameters such as: the type and homogeneity of the soil, the density of adjacent structures and the separation distance between them. The results of this work demonstrate that the dynamical structure-soil-structure interaction is clearly influenced by the values of these key parameters. The tendency of this influence is related to the location of the applied dynamic impact. These results can be taken into account in the study and construction of realistic projects, particularly sensitive ones. The precision of the numerical modelling results is discussed and validated with previous works in the literature. | en_US |
