dc.description.abstract | Since a Grid-connected photovoltaic system is expensive to build and the cost of electricity from the PV array systems is more expensive, compared to the price of electricity from the utility grid, the user of such system naturally wants to use all of the availble output power. Therefore, PV array systems should be designed to operate at their maximum output power levels for any temperature and solar irradiation level at all time. To obtain maximum power from photovoltaic array, photovoltaic power system usally requires maximum power point tracking controller. This project proposes maximum power point tracking control of photovoltaic array uzing fuzzy control. To obtain maximum power from photovoltaic array, the fuzzy controller only uses the output power. Therfore this method can track maximum power point rapidly with fuzzy inference even if the optimum operating point changes. | en_US |
