dc.description.abstract | For induction-heating application a power electronic inverter is developed, where the surge are undesirable with respect to both the reliability and the efficiency of power supply. A full bridge load series resonant inverter based on zero-voltage switching (ZVS) is treated. Surge analyses for both ZVS and non-ZVS modes are made in sequence, then, a very simple and practical surge model is proposed. The important role of the free-welling diodes during the reverse recovery process in generating huge voltage is appears. In this inverter, An adaptive control does not only keep the output current and the voltage in phase but also, makes the system operate in zvs mode to linear and non linear load. On the strategy design of the gains which are determined by minimizing a cost function which reduces the tracking error and the control signal. A recursive least squares (RLS) estimator identifies the plant parameters at different load conditions. The measurement of the capacitor voltage was used the state variable in this scheme and other state variables are obtained by estimation using Kalman Filter. Simulation results verified that the proposed strategy has good performance to linear and nonlinear loads providing fast transient response. | en_US |
