dc.description.abstractThe main objective of the present work is the survey of a new thick plate triangular device of discharge measurement provided by a water heave. During the first chapter, we described in generally the main works that have been elaborated in the domain of discharge measurement in the open channels. While the second chapter had for main objective the development of the relationships height - discharge and discharge coefficient by a theoretical approach calling to the quantity of movement equation. To validate and check relationships mentioned above, we tested various devices in the laboratory.en_US
