dc.description.abstractThe cholera epidemic in Algeria during the period of French colonialism )1911-1831( is an important topic that reflects Algeria's health realities during that period and which did not bring enough luck from studies. Although it is an important aspect of Algeria's history, most studies are concerned with the political and military aspects of the cholera epidemic in Algeria. We examined the main reasons for its transition and the stages of its spread in Algeria and how the French administration and Algerian society dealt with it to reduce its prevalence.He highlighted its effects and repercussions on Algerian society, including statistics showing Algeria's demographic collapse and economic stagnation during that period.en_US
