dc.description.abstractThe present study attempts to explore the effect of code-switching on enhancing cognitive flexibility of the EFL learners. The research method was adopted mixed method to carry this study. Furthermore, the sample of this study consisted of Master Two students of English at University of Mohamed Kheider Biskra. A questionnaire with students and an interview with teachers were the data collection tools use in this study After collecting and analyzing the data, the findings showed the great effect of code-switching on the students cognitive flexibility. The study related code-switching with cognitive flexibility. Therefore, the study findings support that the use of code-switching has great influence on improving the students’ cognitive flexibilityen_US
