During the Almoravid era, Morocco and Andalusia knew many criminal acts that were controlled by political, social and economic reasons, and they had a great impact on the formation of criminal behaviors that dominated the surface of society. Alcohol, sexual practices, and even major crimes such as murder and assault, as well as cases of fraud in sales and other crimes. In the end, they do not represent the general population as they are from one society to another, but differ even in one society depending on the difference in political power and social and economic transformations. Also, with regard to penalties, they also varied in this period according to the diversity of crimes through punishments of hudud, qisas, or even disciplinary punishments to limit the spread of the phenomenon of criminality. Islamic law, and therefore the most important field that has lost its way to achieve this is the judicial field that shows us the greatness of the civilization of the Almoravid state, just as we must not lose sight of the role of society in fighting crime through enjoining good and forbidding evil, whether by saying or by complaining to the ruler or relying on themselves to confront for those crimes.en_US
