dc.description.abstractOur study aims to investigate the use of Instagram and its impact on the academic achievement of university students. This will be achieved by examining the influence of Instagram applications on the development of scientific and cognitive abilities among university students, as well as the impact of interactions between students and their peers through Instagram on their academic achievement. The main research question that guided our study is as follows: Does the use of Instagram affect the academic achievement of university students? To address this issue, we employed a descriptive methodology that aligns with the nature of our research. The primary tool used for data collection was a questionnaire, which was administered to a stratified random sample consisting of 142 students. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The study yielded the following results: 1. The use of Instagram has a significant impact on the academic achievement of university students. 2. Instagram applications greatly contribute to the development of scientific and cognitive abilities among university students. 3. Interactions among students through the Instagram platform have a significant influence on their academic achievement, enhancing their scientific and cognitive knowledge.en_US
