dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to find out parents perceptions of English language teaching among third-year elementary school students, to answer the following sub-questions: - What are the parents' perceptions of the children's ability to absorb the English language subject in the third year of primary school? - Does perception of teaching English to their children differ according to their educational and cultural level* The prescriptive curriculum has been used to achieve the study's objectives, and the research community is made up of parents of the 41st elementary year pupils chosen in a deliberate manner from the municipalities of Imlili and Umash - Biskra State - during the second six years of the school year 2022/2023. This study relied on the corresponding tool as a means of collecting data consisting of (23 items) divided into three axes. The field study and statistical treatment produced a series of results: - Difficulty in reconciling two foreign articles in terms of capacity, assimilation and time according to parents' perception. - Parents conceive that English contributes to improving pupils' level of education as a globally traded and overwhelming language in all fields. - Children's programs in English are an auxiliary element for pupils to assimilate to this subject according to their perception. - According to parents, books and educational tapes are one of the most important possibilities to contribute to improving the level of pupils in English. - Parents' level of study as envisioned by parents has a role in acquiring English. - The abilities of third-year elementary students correspond to English in a rather positive way depending on their parents' perception. - Parents imagine that tutoring in English is a third assistant for primary students. | en_US |
