Abstract

This study addresses the issue of strategic alliances and their role in increasing the financial resources of library and information association, in order to show the mportance of searching for new and non-traditional ways to confort the difficulties facing institution, especially from the financial side. Adopting new ideas and methods for eveloping financial resources in these institutions has become imperative, giving the nstitution a new space and way for cooperation, and this is in order to share and benefit from resources and expertise. Learning and acquiring new strategies in order to create additional financing outlets, as it is not limited to the human aspect only, but rather goes beyond that to include the capabilities and resources of the allied institution to become a trump card for both, as it is a way to control internal resources and control externel resources by adhering to the standards and conditions necessary to establish alliance. The Algerian Library and Information Association is one of the institutions that has dopted the strategy of alliance with several institutions and associations in the same ield of libraries with the aim of creating additional funding outlets, so we did our part to study the strategy methods of alliances within the association in order to prove that the lliances have a role to effective in increasing its financial resources.
