Abstract

This study aimed to treat the issue of the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of university libraries from the point of view of its employees. The study consisted of 9 librarians working in the library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mohamed Khider University, Biskra. To achieve the objectives of the study, we relied on the descriptive approach in an analytical manner, with the use of direct observation and questionnaire tools to collect data. The results of the study showed that the university library under study took the necessary measures, especially its endeavor to continue its broadcasting of services despite the difficulties and challenges it encountered, the most important of which is the weak technical training of human resources and the lack of budget. The performance of the university library under study was of average quality during the pandemic, and a set of evaluation techniques were used, the most of which was the total evaluation technique, and it also employed a set of strategic methods and plans for management
