dc.description.abstract | This study aims to assess the level of burnout among nurses in the Emergency Department at Toulga-Biskra Hospital. The Maslach Burnout Inventory was used to collect data on emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. Data was collected from three different cases and analyzed. The study found that nurses in the Emergency Department experience high to moderate levels of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, in addition to a lack of personal accomplishment. This indicates a problem in the well-being of nurses and calls for attention and support to improve the working conditions. Based on the results, it is recommended to provide psychological and emotional support to nurses, along with the development of policies and procedures aimed at improving the work environment and reducing professional stressors. Management should play an active role in supporting nurses and promoting their mental and emotional well-being. | en_US |
