The currentstudy mainly deal with the meaning of life among individual with hypertension, aiming to answer two key questions: -How is life meaningful to a person with hypertension? -What are the implications of having hypertension on a person's meaning of life? In order to understand the psychological effects of being with hypertension, we based our study on the Clinical Approach, which allows us to comprehensively and deeply address multiple aspects and factors in people's lives using various tools: interview and clinical observation, in addition to the adapted version of Meaning of Life Scale (DjaballahYamina, 2016), applied to three cases from the city of Biskra. After quantitative and qualitative analysis of the collected data, we concluded that the level of meaning of life as measured was moderate in two cases and low in one. The meaning of life varies according to the degree of the disease. The incidence of hypertension reflected in determining person's life orientation, satisfaction, hope, outlook for the future, limited interactions, limitations in emotional expression, goals and challenges. All of that affect the meaning of life.en_US
