Abstract

Drug addiction of all kinds has become a phenomenon that requiring fesearch and questioning, due to its social and psychological effects on society and individuals of all groups. We studied this phenomenon from a psychological aspect, where we aimed to reveal the level of Emotional Intelligence among adults with lyrica addiction In order to reach the study objectives, we conducted a field study at Al Waseet Addiction Treatment Center - biskra - and a clinical psychology method has been followed, and a certain emotional intelligence scale has been conducted. The chosen sample of this study was done on two (02) cases from (30-35) years old undergoing treatment since (2022). We tried to answer the following question: - What is the level of of emotional intelligence among adults with Lyrica addiction ? The results obtained shows that: the level of emotional intelligence among adults with Lyrica addiction is average.
