Abstract

The subject of our study, entitled "The Character of the Hero in the Police Novel" Inheritance of Hatred" by Mourad Boukerzaza, is based on the study of the personality in police works. The first chapter is theoretical, we divided it into two sections. In the first section, we dealt with the concept of personality, its types and dimensions, and the second section dealt with the concept of the hero and his historical path. As for the second chapter, it was about an applied study in the content of the novel, in which we presented the artistic construction of the character, and we got acquainted with the types of characters in it and their dimensions. The last of which was a conclusion about the conclusions about the results reached through the research.
