Abstract

In this research titled the Character structer in the Novel of Another Extra Days by Abbas Suleiman, in which the character is the most important and fundamental aspect of the present work. Through this novel, the aim was to reveal the internal, external, and social aspects of the characters, relying on structural methodology, description, and analysis. The following plan was: two applied chapters preceded by an introduction and an entrance, and concluded with a conclusion. The introduction contains theoretical concepts, while the first chapter focused on studying the structure of the character in the novel "Another Extra Days," discussing the types, patterns, and dimensions of character. As for the second applied chapter, it was dedicated to discussing the character and its relationships with other narrative structures. The most important findings reached is that the character is one of the essential elements on which any fictional work relies, as it serves as the link between other narrative structures (events, time, place).
