Abstract

Our research, entitled The Structure of Personality in Mustafa Lutfi Al-Manfaluti's novel, Virtue. - The structure of the personality, which is considered the most important element in the novel and around which the events revolve. In this research, we tried to highlight the forms of the characters and define their dimensions, which are represented in several aspects of the fictional personality and its application to the novel of virtue, relying on that analytical approach in our study of the novel. - We included the study of two chapters preceded by an introduction. In the introduction, we dealt with defining the concepts of structure and personality. As for the first chapter, it was entitled Levels of Personality and Its Dimensions in Mustafa Lutfi Al-Manfalouti’s Novel Virtue, Representing the Forms and Dimensions of Personality and Their Application to the Novel. Personality in space and time by defining open and closed places, as well as temporal paradoxes, narration time techniques, and applying them to the novel. -Therefore, the fictional character is one of the important literary elements, so a novel cannot be built without characters.
