Abstract

This research to study the philosophy of interpretation or hermeneutics of the most important poles of interpretation in the modern HANS GEORG GADAMER The hermeneutical approach before Gadamer was concerned with the sacred texts and their understanding and study, and this is due to the ambiguity of the content of these texts. Interpretation is a subjective approach that only understands and interprets the sacred texts. With Gadamer, the hermeneutical approach became an objective approach concerned with studying all fields of science and knowledge, not just the sacred texts. This approach has become an important method, especially in the study of human phenomena.
