Abstract

This research study titled "Critical Standards in the lntroductions of third Century AH Literary Works " aims to oxamine the most important critical issues and standards in ancient Arabic literary heritage in the introductions of literary works by critics of the third century AH, in order to reveal the brilliance of poetry and poets. The study consists of an introduction to define the terms and concepts, and two chapters.the first chapter focuses on mentioning the standards in the introductions of the most prominent critics of the third cenury AH, while the second chapter discusses the most important isses addressed by these critics in their introductions. The research concludes with important results related to critical standards
