dc.description.abstract | This study deals with the issue of critical issues in modern Arabic literature, specifically with Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafi’i. To the sixties, with the mention of the most important issues that preoccupied Arab critics in the past, then we stopped to the criticism of Al-Rafi'i. Then the first chapter included the literary battles in modern criticism, mentioning the reasons for their severity and the manifestations of their occurrence, so that we could then mention the most important issues on which the echoes of those battles rested. Against his opponents, and in the light of those struggles, he produced his critical book Under the Banner of the Qur’an, The Battle Between the Old and the New, which he wrote in the criticism of the great writer and Dr. Taha Hussein, so that he dealt with it in a series of articles collected in that book, which is considered an extension of the battle between the old and the new, and a way to defeat the claimants of the new doctrine, especially Taha. Hussein, when he wrote a book on "pre-Islamic poetry", and the latter was suspicious of the inherited pre-Islamic poetry, religion and hadith in terms of its origins and attribution to its people | en_US |
