Abstract

The topic of dictationisamong the topics that have receivedgreat attention fromlinguisticstudies in general and educational studies in particular. Teachingdictationisorganizedstepstaken by the student, whowere able to understand and assimilate a specificwritingskill, whichisformed by himthrough the ability to draw the words drawncorrectly, and the primary stage isconsidered for the processTherefore, I touched on this stage as the first building block of learning. The aim of thisstudy is to stand on the merits of the subject of spelling and the methods of teachingit in the primary stage, and thenstudy the spellingrulesdistributed to the fifthyearaccording to whatwas stated in the educational documents of the curriculum, the guide and the textbook... The importance of dictationenables the development and enrichment of the Arabiclanguage, helps mental maturity, and contributes to the development of the student's cultural abilities and artisticskills
