dc.description.abstractWe attempted in this research entitled "Derivatives and Their Role in Developing Linguistic Performance of Middle School Students - An Analytical Statistical Study" to present the role of derivatives in developing the linguistic performance of middle school students (in the third and fourth year of middle school). In the theoretical aspect, we addressed derivatives starting from concepts about derivatives and their types, leading to linguistic performance and its skills and types. As for the practical aspect, we discussed examples of derivatives found in the texts of the textbook for the third and fourth year of middle school, using statistical analysis method by extracting derivatives from the texts, then organizing them in tables and extracting the results. The aim of this study was to uncover the role of derivatives in developing the linguistic performance of middle school students.en_US
