dc.description.abstractTrying to get acquainted with the thought of the Frankfurt School is a very difficult step, given the diversity of cognitive references and the intellectual and philosophical poles that formed this school in addition to the radical criticisms presented, regarding the major problems of modern society and the values and concepts on which it is based, so that the critical project of Eric Fromm represents a major pillar in the establishment of the philosophy of An alternative criticism, aiming to liberate the Western cultural project from its assumptions through this school's perceptions of man and social gaps. Fromm's reading of Marxism and Freudianism allowed him to reveal the defects of the capitalist system while showing the reality he proposed as an alternative to restoring the image of technology distorted by excessive consumption, and determining the status of psychoanalysis, which is considered A framework for critical theory by Eric Fromm.en_US
