Abstract

The logical position of Zaki Najib Mahmood was the basic way to understand reality and move away from the delusions of metaphysics. Western society, with its physical and Amperical experience, was considered a model for this, and therefore he called for the transfer of this material orientation to Arab society. His book "Metaphysical Myth" expresses its total rejection of metaphysics at first stage, but it reversed its position at second stage after being attacked and criticized, reworking its title into a "metaphysical attitude", behind which was a range of motivations and influences.
