dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to identify the main challenges of integrating students with special needs in regular institutions from the perspective of teachers in the Biskra province . The researchers used a descriptive approach , and the study included 50 teachers . To collect data , the researchers prepared a questionnaire consisting of 25 items distributed across 5 dimensions : problems related to the physical environment of the classrooom , psychological problems, behavioral problems , social problems and academic problems . The study revealed that behavioral problems were the most significant obstacles to the learning of children with special needs , including attention deficit , hyperactivity shouting , and other behaviors that could hinder all students in the classroom . Educational and school-related prooblems followed as the main cause of their low achievement , resulting from a clear decrease in motivation and lack of interest in learning . These problems were the result of social and psychological issues that made these children considred obstacle in the classroom due to their attachment to and dependence on their parents , who sometimes need to accompany them to the classroom . The study concluded by providing a set of recommendation that could assist teachers in performing their job effectively and ensuring the successful integration of students with special needs in regular schoolsen_US
