dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to identify the relationship between addiction to electronic gaming and learning motivation among high school students and to reveal whether there are differences in addiction to electronic gaming and learning motivation attributed to gender. So, to achieve the objectives to the study, a descriptive methodology was applied. The electronic gaming addiction scale developed by the researcher (Fatima Zahraa Noishi, 2014) and the learning motivation questionnaire develped by the researcher (Junad Abdel-Wahhab, 2014) were utilized on sample consisted of 116 male and female students in the first year of secondary school from different academic fields who play the Free Fire. After analyzing the data statistically using the SPSS software, the following results were obtained: - There is no relationship between electronic gaming addiction and learning motivation. - There are no differences in electronic gaming addiction and learning motivation related to the gender variable. - The level of addiction to electronic gaming is average. - The level of learning motivation is average | en_US |
