Abstract

This study aimed to find the effect of using information technology in improving the performance of institutions from the perspective of the balanced scorecard, and for this purpose a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to a group of commercial agencies and regional and general directorates of the mobile phone sector in 11 states of Algeria, The study sample included 83 workers distributed among Mobilis, djezzy, and Ooredoo, in addition to interview and observation and statistical data from the Internet in order to collect data, Finally the study concluded that there is a positive impact of the use of information technology in improving the performance of the institutions under study from the perspective of the balanced scorecard, And the presence of a positive impact of the use of information technology in improving financial performance, customer dimension, internal operations, growth and learning, social and environmental performance of the institutions under study,The most important thing suggested by the study is the lack of focus and interest in one dimension of information technology at the expense of the rest of the dimensions, and the need to pay attention to the social and environmental aspects of performance, and the need to take into account the objectives of the institution and its strategy and adapt and link them with the balanced scorecard model in order to successfully implement it and achieve the desired results.
