dc.description.abstractThis study was aimed at examining the role of e-governance in improving the performance of human resources in a sugarly municipal municipality. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed for the purpose of collecting data from members of 38 individual samples. The statistical package of social sciences (spss), version 26, was used to analyse the questionnaire data. The study found: Statistically significant impact of both e-governance dimensions (e-planning, e-organization, e-censorship, e-leadership) on improving the performance of the human resources of the department in question. The study recommends that the Department's officials should endeavour to keep abreast of technological developments and invest in the human resource to achieve the goals and also to achieve a public service as required by today.en_US
