Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to identify the extent of leadership skills availability among the administrative staff of the Baraka Zriba El Wadi flour mills establishment in Biskra, as well as the level of its crisis management. In addition, the study aimed to determine the impact of leadership skills, in their various dimensions, on crisis management. The study population consisted of all the administrative executives of the Baraka Zriba El Wadi flour mills establishment in Biskra, comprising )67( employees. A simple random sample of) 70( participants was chosen, and the questionnaire was distributed to all of them through several field visits. The study collected )50( questionnaires that are valid for the analytical purposes, based on the descriptive method, in order to reach the study results. Several statistical methods were used, including descriptive statistical measures (mean, standard deviation), and multiple regression analysis, among others. The study found several results, the most important of which are that the level of leadership skills availability at the Baraka Zriba El Wadi flour mills establishment in Biskra was high according to the study measures, whereas the level of crisis management was moderate. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant impact of leadership skills, in their various dimensions, on crisis management in the Baraka establishment. The study concluded with several recommendations, including raising awareness among leaders about the need to develop and adopt leadership skills within the establishment. It is also necessary to establish an independent crisis management unit within the establishment, which follows senior management in its decisions and is directly responsible for addressing potential crises. Additionally, leaders' requirements should be met to help them make decisions. |
