dc.description.abstractThis studyaimed to identify the impact of strategic leadership in itsvarious dimensions on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on Dry Areas (Omar Bernawi) -Biskra-. Human capital, maintaining an effective organizational culture, emphasizingethical practices, laying the foundations for a balanced system of organizational control, whileknowledge management wasmeasuredthrough six basicsprocesses, namely :knowledgediagnosis, knowledge acquisition, knowledgegeneration, knowledgestorage, and knowledge distribution. Knowledge application. The study population consisted of all researchers at the Scientific and TechnicalResearch Center on AridRegions (Omar Bernawi) -Biskra-, whonumbered 150 researchers, and a randomsample of 45 researcherswasselected, questionnaires weredistributed to them, and 45 valid questionnaires wereretrieved for statisticalanalysis, and for data analysistheywereused A set of statisticalmethodsbased on the SPSS.V20 program. The studyreachedseveralresults, mostnotably:  The level of strategic leadership practices wasaverage in the Scientific and TechnicalResearch Center on AridRegions (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra -, and the development of human capital came in the first place, followed by laying the foundations of a balanced system of organizational control, and thencomes the maintenance of an effective organizational culture to come afteritDetermining the strategic direction, thendiscovering and maintainingcorecapability, and finallyemphasizingethical practices.  The level of practice of knowledge management operationswasaverage in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on AridRegions (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra -, and the process of applyingknowledge came in the first place, followed by the process of generatingknowledge, then the process of distributingknowledge, followed by the process of storingknowledge, then the process of diagnosingknowledge and finally The process of acquiringknowledge.  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect of strategic leadership in itsvarious dimensions on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on Dry Areas (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra.-  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect to determine the strategic direction on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on AridRegions (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra.-  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect of discovering and maintaining the intrinsicability on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on AridRegions (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra.-  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect of developinghuman capital on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on AridRegions (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect to maintain an effective organizational culture on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on Dry Areas (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra.-  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect of emphasizingethical practices on knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on Dry Areas (Omar Bernawi) - Biskra-  There is a statisticallysignificanteffect to lay the foundations of a balanced system of organizational control over knowledge management processes in the Center for Scientific and TechnicalResearch on Dry Areas (Omar Bernawi).en_US
