dc.description.abstractThis study addresses the problem of the relationship between exposure to the event health television program COVID-19 and health awareness which can occur based on exposure to this program, by revealing the manner and degree to which this health program contributes to benefiting the viewing audience from the study sample In a way that leads to achieving health awareness among them, which is the cornerstone for preventing possible infection with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and maintaining health in general in light of this health threat. Therefore, this study, in addition to examining the potential effects that the COVID-19 program could have on members of the sample studied (Algerian university youth), also attempts to examine the experience of this health program in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and accompanying it on the one hand, as well as dealing with and accompanying the members of the surveyed sample on the other hand. In our study of this phenomenon, we relied on theoretical and methodological approaches that allowed us to investigate the cognitive and behavioral structure of the media audience, based on highlighting and analyzing some elements of reception within the potential levels of influence, some of which represent how to receive the content to which the respondent is exposed to from the study sample, as well as perceive it within the cognitive level. The study provided us with pictures of how the COVID-19 program contributed to spreading health awareness among Algerian university youth in light of the coronavirus pandemic, Which turned out to be a very limited contribution, It was limited to achieving health awareness - to some extent - within the cognitive level, and the study also gave us a perception of the program’s inability to build individuals capable of dealing with the Coronavirus crisis.en_US
