dc.description.abstract | The study aimed to investigate the effect of training based on modifying causal attributional style and reducing learned helplessness among academically failing students. The sample consisted of 16 second-year high school students who were academically failing at Abi Muzarraq Al-Muqrani Secondary School in Bou Saada. To achieve the study's objectives, a set of measurement tools was employed, including the development of a training program based on modifying causal attributional style to reduce learned helplessness among academically failing students, as well as the use of the Learned Helplessness Attribution Styles Scale prepared by "Al-Rifai, 2002" and the Learned Helplessness Scale prepared by "Abu Alia, 2000." The researcher used a quasi-experimental method based on a single group with pre-post measurement, and employed the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to process and analyze the data. The study found evidence of the effectiveness of the training program based on modifying causal attributional style in reducing learned helplessness among academically failing students in secondary school. | en_US |
