Abstract

The impact of the cultural environment in the formation of urban spaces in the Oued Righ region, an anthropological study of a Djamaa city. Abstract This study has dealt with three main axes : how each of customs, traditions, values and religious heritage affect the formation of urban spaces in Djamaa city, in one of the most important desert cities off Oued righ ,that witnessed several socio-cultural transformations, and the role of the Djamaa city consonant in adapting to his urban space (markets, streets, neighborhoods, cafes, dwelling…)Despite the harshness of the environment (trraine, climate, soil, water…), he was able to draw representations and perceptions through which he produced a cultural environment that gives privacy to his daily lifestyle
