To realise this study, we chose the clinical method case formulation. it was applied on three cases of male nurses working in the covid-19 healthcare service, in Skikda city (Algeria). The cases of study had previously contracted the epidemic and recovered from it. After applying the assessing tools and extracting and interpreting the data, we concluded that the study cases has shown PTSD indicators, due to the infection with covid-19-. These indicators were provided in different degrees as follows: - The indicators of reviving the traumatic experience are the imagination of images, memories, thoughts and disturbing dreams related to the traumatic event feeling. Brutal feelings or experiences that what happened will be repeated again; and being annoyed by things and people related to the traumatic event, which leads to breath difficulties and an increase in breathlessness. Heartbeat tremors and profuse sweating. - The indicators of the traumatic experience avoidance: avoidance of thoughts, feelings, situations, and things that remind the traumatic event; the difficulty to enjoying daily activities, feeling isolated and numb; the difficulty to imagine surviving for a long time to achieve the life goals. - The indicators of hyper excitability, which are sleep disturbances, such as difficulty in falling asleep or staying asleep, boots of tension, anger, emotion for trivial reasons, distraction in attention, a sense of motivation, always expecting the worst, and the brink of collapse. | en_US |
