The environmental assessment of effluents generated by the manufacturing industry of mineral fertilizers, Fertial (Annaba) is the main objective of this study. Liquid effluents containing organic and inorganic pollutants are released in the marine littoral without proper treatment. Additionally, this plant contributes to the atmospheric pollution of the city by discharging gas highly charged with ammonia and particles. Hence, estimation and continuous monitoring of degree of pollution caused by this industry are important according to the national and international law on the protection of environment. This would allow establishing a monitoring tool and decision support for ensuring effective and sustainable management of industrial effluents of Fertial.en_US
